Mark Goddard
Founder / Chief Executive Officer
Mark is a highly skilled, entrepreneurial-minded leader who is an accomplished business-development professional with a track record of results‑driven success in building a client base. He brings with him exceptional business acumen, coupled with an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the retail industry and its market dynamics.
Mark is the developer of the pizza-slice pan and has a very strong, diverse corporate and entrepreneurial background which includes bringing a never-before-CPG (grocery) product to 3,500 stores, including Wal-Mart and showcased on QVC. This provided invaluable experience with FDA approved food manufacturing and packaging. Started a mortgage company and grew it to a large size regional operation that was purchased. With a strong sales and entrepreneurial background for the last 30 plus years it provides a strong footing for Slice Nation to prosper and grow.
In my personal life I enjoy all things outdoors, but my heart is in salt water. I have enjoyed some of the best rivers and lakes the middle of the United States has to offer and look forward to continually learning salt water as it will be my lifelong pursuit. My other love is the Great Rocky Mountains which I have been fortunate to have spent lots of time at elevation and even enjoyed Ralph Lauren steaks on an open fire on his Double R Ranch in Ridgeway Co. with a best friend of mine that was a cowboy for him.

Chris is a noted Industry expert and highly respected executive offering almost 40 Years of experience in Business Development, Operations, Franchising and Sales throughout the hospitality industry globally. Chris has driven rapid growth in both international and domestic markets for some of the worlds most recognizable and respected hospitality brands such as Darden Restaurants, TGi Fridays, HardRock Cafe, Steak n Shake, Whitbread (UK) and many more. His broad knowledge of geographical, cultural, political and economic viability in the 50+ countries he has developed with franchise partners and his entrepreneurial business acumen has enabled them all to be a success. Chris has achieved his degree in Hospitality and Business from London University and also has his degree in Architecture and Design from Westminster University which has added to his extensive knowledge of the industry and development.
Magdi Mahmoud
VP of International Development
Magdi has over 25 years of experience in hospitality as an strong Executive leader. He has governed company expansion in international markets and has a proven track record of accomplishments in international operations and business development. Magdi started with the McDonald’s management team which gave him a solid base in all aspects of fast service, QSC and leadership. He advanced his knowledge during his tenured time with Villa Enterprises as Director of International Operation & Business Development where he made great accomplishments in the Middle East, Europe & Mexico and created many lasting business relationships.
